We’re back today with another “Get This Look” post. Now that the last season of Fixer Upper is here, there has been so much new and beautiful inspiration! We’re loving all of these recent reveals and today we’re sharing another favorite look. This post is all about the Fixer Upper Ivy House dining room!
For this particular design, the homeowners requested “a home that reflected the simple, relaxed style of a coastal villa”. You’ll see a lot of warm tones from the wood details and subtle texture in the textiles and stucco fireplace.
Let’s dig a little deeper into the dining room design.
The room has a rather rustic and raw vibe, so the linen dining chairs help to soften the overall look and make the space feel even cozier! If you look at the floors closely, you’ll notice a gorgeous inlaid pattern in the wood that sets off the dining room from other areas in the home. The pattern almost acts as a built-in rug of sorts! The stacked logs create a unique focal point in the room that also add to the character and warmth of the space.
In addition to the structural features, one of the main focal points is that stunning china cabinet. The reclaimed wood finish adds to the coastal vibe the homeowners were looking for. At the end of the post, we sourced several options that give the same look and feel.
A bit of a modern vibe is injected off to the side of the room, with the addition of a hairpin bench and an antiqued gold mirror. Interestingly, the lighting the space, in the form of the sconces and the chandelier, have a more industrial vibe.
