Happy Friday! I can’t believe April is almost over and May is just around the corner. We are working on some great outdoor projects to share with you! Today’s Friday Favorites feature some beautiful ideas that are not-quite-classic (in a fresh way!) and not-quite-rustic (in a modern way), plus some more of our favorite finds. Have a great weekend!

Favorite woodworking: Shameless semi-self-promotion ahead… if you didn’t see the #woodartchallenge posts earlier this week, you have GOT to go check them out HERE! So many talented DIYers and so many creative ideas.
Favorite up-close: Isn’t this shot of @keystoinspiration so nice! The shiplap and that pretty faucet have me all heart-eyed!
Favorite rug: Did you find any great deals for your home on #WayDay? This rug was a steal that day, but thankfully it’s still a really great price and the turquoise blue color is beautiful! Get it here.
Favorite faux: Love the look of a fiddle leaf fig tree but not price tag? See how Lantern Lane Designs faked it!
Favorite not-quite-classic twist: We are big fans of wall treatments and wainscoting, so this unique combination caught our eye! (Photo ©Remodelaholic | Home built by Split Rock Fine Homes, Designed by Hamilton Park Interiors)
Favorite not-so-rustic: Anika’s DIY Life gave an old laminate bookshelf a rustic facelift, but the modern pink pop of color softens it a bit and looks great!
Favorite rustic modern: Just like that bookshelf, isn’t this room a nice blend of feminine pink, modern elements, and rustic wood? Love it! Shop the look here. (Photo ©Remodelaholic | Home built by Millhaven Homes)
Favorite before and after: Just look at how the basic laminate wardrobe got a whole new look over at Paint It White Interiors!
Favorite beautiful reminder: Building and improving and decorating our homes has a bigger purpose, beyond Instagram or even being surrounded by things that make us happy — our homes are for our families, and they are the most important of all! I’ve long loved this quite from Mother Theresa, and this rustic framed version is beautiful.
(Remember, our Remodelaholics Anonymous link sharing has now moved over to our blogger group on Facebook, and we have a new Remodelaholics Anonymous group for anyone, blog or not, to join and share projects, ask questions, and get inspired!)
